Board of Directors
Karen Clark, Educator
Karen’s passion for quality early childhood education began in her childhood, playing school with her stuffed animals and dolls. This enthusiasm led her to a career as an educator and librarian in the private and public school sectors, particularly in underserved communities, spanning over 20 years.
Karen feels incredibly fortunate to have had amazing mentors who have influenced her personally and professionally, leaving lasting impacts on her life. Like the camp song says, “It only takes a spark,” she is excited to inspire others to ignite their own passion for making the world a better place. She considers it a privilege to be part of the Fulfilled Living Foundation, working alongside talented board members who are eager to serve in the non-profit sphere.
Jordan Alvillar, Nonprofit Leader
Jordan Alvillar serves as the Stewardship Manager for Mid and Major Gifts at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), leading key donor engagement initiatives. Prior to joining ADL, Jordan worked in account services, specializing in strategic communications and government affairs, contributing to statewide initiatives and education campaigns across Colorado. Jordan has also held leadership roles on several boards, including ADL Mountain States, Kids In Need of Dentistry (KIND), Westminster’s Butterfly Pavilion, and Denver Gay Professionals.
Jordan joined the board of the Fulfilled Living Foundation because she believes in the transformative power of individuals harnessing their unique passions and talents to create positive change. Her deep commitment to mental health inspires her to support environments where people can thrive, pursue their dreams, and contribute meaningfully to society. By fostering personal fulfillment, we cultivate resilience and happiness, empowering communities and making the world a better place for everyone.
Christian Gruver, Museum Professional
Christian Gruver is privileged to continue a nearly seven year career at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, serving currently as the Database and Analytics Manager. Beginning first as an intern, Christian grew quickly to work in and manage departments like Membership and Exhibit Design and Fabrication.
Christian was honored to be asked to join the board of the Fulfilled Living Foundation as it so aligns with his passions. Drawing from his upbringing by an educator and his work in the Museum space, Christian is inspired by the belief that through patient learning, perspective and understanding the world around us, we can begin to understand ourselves and unlock our own unique fulfilling potentials as gifts to be shared with the world. He is eager to pursue the Foundation’s mission and realize a more fulfilled world together.
Lauren Murray, Nonprofit Leader
Lauren currently lives near Helena, Montana and serves as the Director of Development for Warriors and Quiet Waters, an organization that empowers post-9/11 combat veterans and their loved ones to thrive and live purpose-driven lives through peak experiences in nature. Previously, she spent eight years as the Director of Development for the Continental Divide Trail Coalition, helping build the organization’s resources during a critical period of growth. Lauren has been fortunate to live and work in Yosemite National Park, travel extensively across North America, and develop an affection for many outdoor activities, including mountain biking, gardening, backpacking, foraging, and rock climbing.
Lauren is honored to serve on the Fulfilled Living Foundation’s Board of Directors and deeply believes that every person has a unique purpose and the capacity to live with intention. The Fulfilled Living Foundation’s commitment to lifelong growth, integrity, and compassionate service reflects her personal values and her belief that when individuals are supported in discovering their potential, they are empowered to uplift their communities and the world around them.
